It is extremely important that  sports players are adequately rehabilitated before returning to sports, it they not the injury can become much worse. Effective treatment of sports injuries         For serious injuries like spinal, they get help first.                           PRICE Using  this method immediately can help to unit swelling reducing pain and loss of function. P= Protection: Take player away from field as soon as possible. R= Rest: Inmobilize chi area,no more stretching or quick movement. I= Ice: Cools the area which constricts blood vessels and prevent fluid linkage apply the ice for 15-20 min after injury as soon as possible. C= Compression:Compress the injured area and move distal to proximal. E= Elevation: Elevate the injured area above height.this elevation is supplemented by gravity and help swelling to more to lymph node.

Sports injury preventions

Sports injuries can be prevented by looking at a wide variety of factor such as environment of particular sport,fitness level,protective equipment and nutrition. The sports environment includes. 1) weather 2)  facilities 3) surfaces 4)  equipment .some protective equipment must be used to protect a sport person from injuries. 1) Eyewear 2) Mouthguards 3) Wrist,elbow,knee and shinguards 4) Helmet 5) Tapes 6) braces Here are some steps to reduce the risk of sports injury. 1)  Warm-up properly 2) Use the right equipment 3)  Proper technique 4) know your limits 5) Keep hydrated 6) Cool down adequately 7) progress gradually

Causes of sports injuries

Most common causes of sports injuries -Improper warm up Failure to perform a proper warm up can put risk for injury as muscle a joints are not prepared for exercise.it is necessary to increase temperature of body and it's circulation. If warm is of 15 to 20 minutes it must include combination of stretching and cardiovascular exercise. -Overuse injuries Repetitive strain injuries are caused by repeated action which apply pressure to certain joint or area of soft tissues. worsen overtime and include injuries such as tennis elbow,golfer's knee,thrower's shoulder and planter fascias.  -Over training Simply put,this is doing too much, too often with insufficient rest between.lack of adequile recovery time coupled with amplified.intensity of training is the most common cause of over training. -weakness in muscle,tendon,ligament: It is also the most common cause of injury...

Types of injuries

In a single year around one and a half million suffer from sports related injuries and get treatment from emergency department.fatigue is the main factor that leads to such type of injuries. .A low energy athlete may lead to detoriation in technique, slower reaction time, stability of muscle tissue.these all allow in injury to occur. Two most common types are: 1)  Soft tissues injuries  When sort tissues experience trauma the dead and damaged.cells release chemicals and initiate inflammation. Soft tissue involves 1) Muscle sprains 2) Tendon and ligament tears 3) Muscle tissues 2) Hard tissues injuries These are types of tissues injuries  that include dental bone injuries. and these are less frequent then soft tissues injuries in sports but often more serious. tooth fracture are of more common type among these injuries. Hard tissues involve 1) dislocated joints 2) fractured joints 3) joints and also bones

Most common causes of this sort of injury are : 1) Accidents 2) poor training practice 3) improper equipment 4) insufficient warm up and stretching. The most sports injuries are strains and sprain Sprain are such injuries that are mainly concerned with ligaments.the tough bands connecting bones in a joint.suddenly stretching limits or deform them.strains are such sort of injuries  that anchor muscles.overusing or their over stretching cause tear of that muscle or tendon the tissues generally lengthen with stress and then returns to its normal length unless they are pull too far or out of their normal range.
